What you need to know

Confirming Your Date

When you book a no-obligation meeting, if your date is available I will hold this date for you for 7 (seven) days pending receipt of your deposit.

Rehersal

The ceremony fee includes attendance at a ceremony rehearsal if required.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required to secure the date and time for your ceremony

Payment of Balance

Payment of the outstanding balance is due at least 2 weeks prior to the ceremony, unless the booking is made with less than 2 weeks to go.  Then payment is required in full at this time.

Legal - Weddings

You are aware that this ceremony will not be legally recognised in England and Wales.  To formalise the legal requirements, you must attend a Register office (if you desire legal recognition)

Confidentiality

All correspondence and documentation in respect of my services, including any ceremony examples provided, must be kept confidential both before and after your event. Such information can only be shared with our express written consent.

Cancellation

If you, unfortunately, have to cancel your ceremony for whatever reason, your fee will be invoiced as follows:

1,  More than 3 months before ceremony date - 60% of celebrancy fee

2.  Within 2 months of ceremony date - 80% of celebrancy fee

3.  Within 1 month of ceremony date - 100% of celebrancy fee

4.  Add to the above any special expenses paid by the Celebrant, such as additional travel and accommodation expenses

Bookings can be transferred to other available dates wherever possible 

Unavailability

The Celebrant undertakes to make reasonable endeavours to conduct the ceremony on the date and at the time booked. If delayed by circumstances beyond their control (including, but not limited to, severe illness, a car accident, etc.) this will not constitute a breach of contract. In such an event the Celebrant shall give notice to the Couple as soon as is practicable and they will make every effort to provide an alternative Celebrant to conduct the ceremony from the same script. Should an alternative Celebrant not be found, failure to appear shall give the Couple the right to annul the contract with all monies so far paid by them to the Celebrant being refundable to them.

Insurance

The Couple shall be responsible for the insurance of their goods and property and for the insurance of any goods or property provided by the Couple for use by the Celebrant in the delivery of the ceremony. The Celebrant shall not be liable for any loss or damage to such goods.
